Director

Jennifer Hosea is the owner and director of Creative Play Solutions, LLC.  She has a master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling (1996) from the State University of West Georgia.  She has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2000.  She has provided counseling to children and adolescents since 1996.  Her work experience includes:  private practice, community mental health, schools, juvenile probation, and inpatient care.  She has received specialized training in play therapy, Sandtray/Worldplay therapy, and trauma therapy for children and adolescents.  She is a member of the Licensed Professional Counselor Association, the International Association of Trauma Professionals, the Association for Play Therapy and the Georgia Association for Play Therapy.

Currently, Jennifer provides counseling to children, adolescents, their families, and parents.  She has a special interest in treating trauma (abuse, neglect, loss, domestic violence, accidents, chronic medical issues, or other events).  She also works with families with adoption and attachment issues.  In addition, she routinely sees children struggling with anxiety, depression, adjustments to life changes, divorce, anger management, behavioral problems, and ADHD.  Periodically, she offers filial training workshops for parents.  This training teaches parents how to use child-centered play therapy techniques at home.

At Creative Play Solutions, besides Jennifer, there are other contracted therapists available who provide counseling for adults, couples, children, adolescents and families.  All other therapists are master’s level Licensed Professional Counselors.  This enables us to treat the whole family and provide the care necessary to really make a difference in families’ lives.  Call 706-216-5072 for more information!
